
Above is the very first raft table that I purchased back in 1979. If nothing else, it’s been a durable table! Still, at 40 pounds, it’s a bit of a beast and the old skidguard decking is happy to inflict splinters.
Clearly, modern day aluminum tables are a great improvement over the “old days”.
So, i’m designing a reasonably priced, all aluminum table that’s lightweight and more sanitary than one with a plywood top.


I’m working on a couple of different sized prototypes and should have the design hammered out in the near future.
